While I would guess that Stan might be a bit - what should I say... - wrong, but... at certain point he is right. And we may say "thanks" to those fighting for gender equality just in everything for the killing of etiquette and courtesy. There's no doubts that the one who invited the other person somewhere is the one who pay for that. But since "ladies" nowadays are so independent and have opportunities to be educated and well paid, then what is the problem to share the expenses?
