Hmmmmmmmm! russian movie.... So, Victor.
in general russian directors now copy hollywood standards. russian horors & acton films look very baldly.
exist many good russian films, but, Victor, you can't understand this without knowledge russian language .๐ Sadness (Pechalka)
what i can recommend to you
films by Rogozhkina -
"Peculiarities of National Hunting",
"Especially the National Fishing" - it's comedy, because maybe, maybe
Russian-Finnish project "Cuckoo" -it's drama, and 3 characters speak different languages โโand do not understand each other.
First soviet horror films - Viy (ะะธะน), based on the novel of the Russian & Ukrainian classic Gogol.
You know, Victor, in USA watch films about 3 Ghosts of Christmas.
So, in Russia watch "Night Before Christmas" based on another novel of the Russian & Ukrainian classic Gogol. And a fairy tale "Frost" - Morozko, in USA made english translate. I dont know how good.
we have good film based on the work of Dostoevsky - "Gambler". it's adventurous tragicomedy.
"East-west" with Boehner and Deneuve.
"what about men talk" - Victor, not sure that exist good translate. but it really fun.
In Rassia exist many good war drams. but problems in translate ๐)
any question, Victor?
