It`s very interesting to read your words.😊
The topic you had created meant that men are afraid of autonomous women, but at the same time men are not against of independent women. That means that in men`s eyes autonomous woman is worse than an independent woman. OK. But I needed a comparison: what is an autonomous woman (from your point of view) and what is an independent woman.
You wrote about the past. OK.
Then you wrote about the autonomous woman that lives in a modern world: she can work where she wants, spend time like she wants and so on. Honestly I haven`t seen anything bad in such a woman.
And you also wrote that:
«Today, more and more women question an assumption in our culture that true happiness equals being involved with a man.
That's a good sign.»
So the questions are: 1) if you admit that being an autonomous woman isn`t bad, so WHY men still are afraid (from the title of your topic) of them?
2) What is the difference between an autonomous and an independent woman?
3) What is wrong with an autonomous woman (from your point of view) in comparison with an independent woman?
