To answer that question, I will give my time parameters. If my 80% of my search criteria is met, and the person I'm contacting has great communication skills and does not live in fear of opening themselves up, or becoming vulnerable, I think after 8 weeks, a meeting should take place. However both should have a financial and emotional obligation to invest in one another. Otherwise, each should pay to visit one another to show good faith in the investment of the relationship. I would pay to travel to Russia and she would pay to travel to the United States. This way both would know a little of each other's country and the community settings each lives in and would have a better understanding of the environment in which they would live.
