Dear, Neo! You understood me right. Those two men (my friends' husbands) acted the way they did because they wanted to act like this, it was their wish, choice and decision. Nobody asked them to do this and nobody requested their bank accounts to check. There's no rule - who pays for what.
But you don't have a clear picture about 'equality' in our society yet. Women-business owners, women-politicians, 8 March is the propaganda on the national TV channels. In reality ORDINARY women have fewer opportunities in their life here than men - getting a job, addmition to universities, governmet support of lonely women who bring up a kid(s) is a parody, low ex-husband's alimony or no at all, no shelters for those who suffer from violence and so on. Well even in politics we have the same picture. Mrs. Timoshenko is in jail but this is the issue of the other topic on the forum - Pearson and Society.
