What is there not to talk about?
For me, conversations have always been organic. I don't have pre-planned topics to discuss. I never give out false compliments but I do try to reassure the woman, because this situation can be stressful.
I guess I would answer... family, goals, entertainment likes, hobbies, sometimes I might push something like politics to see if our values align.
Other question: what is taboo to talk about on a first day?
And...
What are some strange deal breakers from a first date?
Example: I know a woman who wouldn't go out with a man again because he drank from a straw.
