Во Вьетнаме "чавканье" -норма.) Мой переводчик "чавкал"всегда. Когда мы с ним пошли на встречу к моим коллегам ( в ресторанчик). то за столиком я пересела от него, чтобы не "чавкал" под ухом..., но рядом чавкали точно также)))!Мне повезло, что другой мой переводчик (по медицине) не "чавкал", так как учился и несколько лет жил в Питере.
