I think you can find some details on uk gov visa website, I have heard that being able to speak and understand some reasonable English is the main requirement but I’m not sure that knowing the culture would make any difference haha from what I have seen we have very similar cultures.
I think if you were to come here on a marriage visa to settle with a partner you are not allowed to work for the first two years so you partner needs to show that ha can support you for that time. This is so that benefits can’t be claimed as you would not pay in to the system. There is a lot to read on all the different visa requirements but I wish you good luck!
