When you get involved seriously in a love relationship you intend it to last forever, otherwise it is just an affair. Once in the relationship it may or may not last forever, that depends greatly on both partners behavior; since the 1980’s long lasting couples are not abundant, that’s for sure; of course this may vary in every country, but in general is more or less the same everywhere.
