I would like to reply to your questions. I am an American man (56) and I used to have a wife from Ukraine. She missed her family so much that she went back to Ukraine. To answer you rquestions:
1-I am still interested in meeting someone from the FSU because I think the women are better wives. They care more about having a happy family. American women just care about money and looks. Russian/Ukrainian women meet their husbands at the door after work with a hug. American women meet their husbands at the door after work with the trash to take out.
2-If a man is serious about meeting a Russian wife, he needs to go visit her to meet in person. Many men are afraid to do this since they don't know if the women is real, or if they will get along, and it costs a lot of money. I think it is best to go from online writing, to talking and seeing each other on Skype, then planning a meeting place or vacation together.
3-On the first meeting, everyone will be nervous. You already know each other, so it should not be too stressful. The meeting should be casual, but will be okay if they already talked and saw each other over Skype or something like that.
4-This is difficult since there are so many women on the internet. I always pass the ones who look too sexy or have many expensive clothes since I think they might be scammers or prostitutes. I know that is not fair, but I look for a pretty women who looks normal and has a good sense of humor, and a nice smile.
