Do you mean the first impression when meeting in real life , or when having a video chat ??

There are differences between these 2.

Only a personal meeting will tell if someone is compatible and if he/she is complying with what is on your "wish-list".

Until that personal conversation , everything else is just indicative.

I personally do believe , that in a personal meeting the first impression is the most important ....

From what I know , Slavic and EE/Russian women do give great attention to detail , when it is about their appearance.

Western men looking for a wife/partner should be aware of this ,and should act accordingly.
Unfortunately their approach in this search for an EE/Russian wife is starting from the wrong idea/assumption.
