If it works for you and your girls, then great, but that does not make it right. It appears that the girls in general appreciate the man's initiative to visit first and visiting is easier for the man than it is in general for a woman to get a visa to the US. I do not even need a visa to Ukraine and getting one to Belarus was easy also. So it's possible to get a trip in to her before she even got her visa to the US.
Glad your process works for you, but I think it is bad advice for most of us.
