That is the correct attitude. Forget these men and move on or let them solve the problem and get back to you. If they cannot handle $20 for a new camera, how are they going to support a wife.
When I was on this site originally two years ago, the first girl I became close with suggested a Skype meeting. I had a new desktop, but did not come with a camera. That day I went out to buy a video camera!!!
