I have experienced this once or twice, but certainly cannot say it appears commonplace.
As far as all being equal, I would have to disagree. But then in this sense, I suppose I am much more traditional in my thoughts.
I also would not go to visit a woman on a whim, we would have to be rather serious before that came up.
