I generally like most foods in general and Eastern European food is not too different having grown up with a lot of Polish foods in the home. I must admit that I did not much like kvas. And this jellied cold meat dish, I could not bring myself to taste. Finally many people have told me they love this dish called 'shooba', but I could not also try it. It just looked very unappetizing.
Otherwise, everything I tried in Ukraine and Belarus was wonderful!
