I agree 100% with you, Tatiana. Tom does not usually think of the other person before speaking. He often says the first thing that pops into his head. He does lack discernment, but probably not his fault. My thought is that sometimes objecting to another opinion is best if the other person must think very hard to decide whether or not they were corrected (or insulted). One must use good thinking.
Also, not my fault I am this way! My parents taught me to respect others and think before making an ass of myself. Like a car, my father taught me to place my brain into the proper gear before revving up my mouth! Does not always work, but I try!
