Irina, these are wonderful words of wisdom and you ask great questions! While I agree marriage is not a pleasure trip, I do believe there is much pleasure and fulfillment in working together with one common goal. Two are better than one. When one falls, the other picks them up; when one is cold, the other warms them. By carrying each other’s burdens, both become stronger and grow closer, developing trust, loyalty and mutual understanding. All are fundamental to loving relationships. Everyone knows that two working together can do the work of 3 working separately. Their joy is in the journey and growing together along the way; growing as individuals and growing as one. Not all experience this joy because sometimes their understanding is not what it should be. You have excellent insight, my dear. God forbid that something or someone should come between them and break their bond. By the way, has anyone mentioned lately what a spectacularly stunning beauty you are!?
