For me, before my young wife left our home, didn't matter if she was sometimes difficult or temperamental; I took joy in her being there beside me. I loved her being the mother of our child; watching her play with our baby brought tears to my eyes. Still brings tears to my eyes. Lying beside her at night while our son slept in the next room brought more contentment than one can understand. Where did this all come from? Who can explain? I can only believe it was a most precious gift.
