It absolutely has!
BIOLOGICALLY (i.e. physically!) females could at the earliest procreate at the age of mid-14/15 (sadly happens often in Africa and Asia), so with an age gap of 15/16, we already talk about a different generation.
Yes, there are cases when larger age gaps work in a relationship (Dave himself has shared a very personal and touching story with us) BUT these are and remain exceptions!
Trying to be with someone who is half his / twice her age (or even more!) is blankpoint crazy, myopic and bound to fail or end in misery, simply because he'll pass away predictably sooner than she. This will in a 'best case' scenario leave 'merely' a widow behind. In worst case a widow and orphans. The tragedy is that some people (we don't want to mention any names, Luxembourg / Netherlands) do not consider this for a moment and focus solely and only on the satisfaction of their egoistic desires.
Likewise, it is despicable of a young girl to attach herself to an old fossile simply because of material advantage.
Ask ANY man, if he would date a girl 18+ years OLDER than him.
I'll believe it when I see it!
