You  just didn't get that joke, cause taking the blocking issue for too serious.. the joke came from the Charley's Aunt - the play in three acts written by Brandon Thomas (an English playwright) in 1892 and broke all historic records for plays of any kind. As for "страна диких обезьян" - this is the Russian pun/figure of speech for the English original "..where nuts* come from", that's it.
